MATTHEW MORRIS,

a Colorado native, began his career as a makeup artist. With high demand for his celebrated work, it was only natural for Matthew to make the transition into hair styling. He quickly rose to the top of his game; jump started by an article in Allure Magazine and was named "Beauty Guru" by 5280 Magazine.

With a loyal following he opened the famed Matthew Morris Salon in 2006. Starting off with only 3 stylists, the salon quickly grew into 15 of the most talented stylists and makeup artists in the state. Most recently Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare has expanded to offer skincare services with 2 amazing medical Aestheticians, Christie Nasi and Amy Kimmig-Carey.

Along with editorial stylist of the year, Matthew has made many accomplishments in the industry which include being voted best salon in Colorado by Elle magazine twice, as well as by Denver's own 5280. Matthew is also a staple at New York's and Aspen Fashion Week and most recently showed his hairstyling magic on Bravo TV's "Shear Genius". Check out our Press page to see what else Matthew is up to.

::Photo Coming Soon::	L'ERIN STORTZ {General Manager} L'Erin is the General Manager at Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare. Named after the make-up company in the 80's, she was destined to work in the beauty industry. She began her career at 15 years old working at the top Aveda Spa in the state, graduated from the Monfort College of Business at UNC, was the former Kerastase Educator for exclusive salons in the Denver area, and was the manager of a reputable salon downtown for the past five years. She is now honored to be the manager at the best salon in Denver, Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare. L'Erin loves to be challenged every day, motivate and inspire others to do their best, and work hard at everything she does. She is inspired by people who are passionate in everything they do, and knows this salon is exactly where she is meant to be and what this industry is all about.
	AMY DARR {Manager of Finances} Amy began her career in the beauty industry ten years ago working in retail for Aveda at the Cherry Creek mall, which has led her to numerous career opportunities in the fashion industry as well. She then moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion, which landed her the position as a coordinator backstage for Aveda at New York Fashion Week for the last twelve seasons. While working at Fashion Week, Amy met Matthew Morris. After moving back to Denver she began as a client coordinator at Matthew Morris Salon, soon after was promoted to salon manager, and is now the manager of finances, currently living in Montana.
	KELSY McCAIN {Client Coordinator} Kelsy is a recent transplant from the bay area in Northern California, and feels privileged to have this opportunity to be one of our client coordinators at Matthew Morris Salon. There is nothing she enjoys more than interacting with people. With over five years experience in the salon industry, Kelsy has loved the experience working with such talented stylists and aestheticians, and has loved getting to know our clients. She has been thoroughly educated in both Kerastase and Shu Uemura, and enjoys using her product expertise to enhance the client's knowledge and educate them about their own specific hair needs. Kelsy feels that customer service is all about going the extra mile to enhance not only a person's visit, but also their day.

	MARVIN GUTIERREZ Marvin is a co-owner at Matthew Morris Salon, with 10 years experience behind him he has experienced it all: fashion shows, photo shoots, editorial work, and advanced education. His specialties are perfected blow-outs, long layered haircuts, and color, especially blondes and cool tone brunettes. Marvin is known for his consistency and bridging the gap between wearable hair for individual lifestyles and hair that is fashion forward and runway worthy. But what really defines Marvin, is the person he is. He is humble, charismatic, and secure with who he is. He makes clients feel comfortable, is approachable, and really connects with each person. He genuinely cares about the history he has with each of them. Building a relationship with them is important and learning the demands and needs of their hair and lifestyle keeps his clients coming back. Marvin stays inspired through the stylists he works with every day. "Here at Matthew Morris Salon, we learn from each other and encourage growth in one another."

	BROOKE OLIVER {Stylist} Brooke is an experienced, talented, imaginative, color expert at Matthew Morris Salon. Artistry defines her, hair inspires her, and educating is her passion. She began her career at a salon in Cherry Creek where she apprenticed under the owner for over 9 months. She is now proud to say she has worked with Matthew Morris himself for 11 years, and is a huge asset to the Education Team here at the salon. She has done Fashion Week in New York and Aspen, Editorial work in 5280, 303, and advertising campaigns for Larimer Square. Brooke was an Aveda Educator for 5 years, an in-salon coach, and has featured her creative hair designs in numerous local fashion shows. She is dedicated to her career, and more importantly building relationships with her clients. Her personality allows everyone to fall in love with her; she is loyal, empathetic, inspiring, and fun. Brooke loves her clients. She wants her clients to be able to go home and recreate what she has done. Brooke's wish; her wish is to always be happy, love everyone, and find beauty and inspiration in everything. "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that's why it's called the present."
	SABRINA PATERSON {Stylist} Sabrina, a Colorado native, is known for specializing in hair that is textured, curly, or chemically processed, as well as hair extensions. With 18 years experience, Sabrina is committed to hard work, continued advanced education, and being the best at what she does. She is inspired by anything that develops her creativity and reignites her vision. Her passion is in being an Educator at Matthew Morris Salon, as well as being an Editorial Stylist. Sabrina has been honored to work at New York and Aspen Fashion Week, and has had her work featured in multiple Magazines, such Vogue. She is certified in Great Lengths Hair Extensions and specializes in Keratin Straightening Systems. Sabrina is talented, skilled, and genuinely loves the relationship she builds with her clients and being a stylist at Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare.
	DANIEL BIENILIUS {Stylist} Daniel is one of a kind. He entered the industry shampooing at 15 years old, and never looked back. With 10 years experience, Daniel is proud of what he learned from his Mentors at TRIO in Chicago, who taught him "blend structure with artistry." To this day, Daniel has taken that wisdom and created his own mastery at Matthew Morris Salon, as our genius to haircutting. "Hair is all about individuality. It is unique; creating a custom, structured cut just for each person. It's tailored artistry." Daniel caters to a diverse clientele, from the hip art student, to the business executive; he can deliver a unique experience for each. Clients say, "from the way Daniel puts the cape on his clients, to giving the most intense and unforgettable shampoo, to how he finishes the blowout, you get the ultimate experience out of every service, it is unique and memorable." Daniel's philosophy is to think of the shampoo as the foreplay to good service, it is the clients favorite part! He was taught the approach to haircutting is as precise as architecture; this is the technical excellence he delivers every time. His other passion is being a cyclist. This strength that comes so natural to him is as strong as haircutting; cycling gives him the ability to be better through repetition and consistency, which is what makes him a remarkable cyclist and a one of a kind stylist.
	REESE TRAVIS {Stylist} A stylist of 10 years, Reese Travis's unwavering love of the beauty industry has taken him far: from braiding horse's manes in Iowa as a child to runway shows and photo shoots for the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Diane Von Furstenburg, and Neiman Marcus. He specializes in ravishing blowouts, dazzling updos, exquisite hair extensions, and most importantly, precision cutting. His looks range from sexy, layered cuts to runway- worthy styles. A master of his craft, Reese is always up to speed on the latest trends and techniques. He strives to learn as much as possible by continued training and learning from the industries leaders. For the past 7 years Reese had called Chicago Il home. Working at top notch salons as Trio Salon and the infamous Maxine Salon. Reese's impeccable attention to detail have elevated him to work on numerous photo shoots and has been featured in local magazines, local news, and campaigns. He has had the pleasure to work with Miss Illinois 2011 Whitney Thorpe- Klinsky. Reese thrives on client satisfaction. His number one goal is that his guest is comfortable and enjoying their experience. He looks forward to creating a modern and fresh take on your individual lifestlye.

	EVER GOOD {Stylist} Ever has been in the hair industry for more than half her life, started as a receptionist in 1994, began her career as an apprentice under the Master Educator for Toni and Guy in 2002, and now has built a reputable image for herself as a successful stylist at Matthew Morris Salon. She is highly educated with L'Oreal Professional, Aveda, Toni & Guy, Bumble and Bumble, and M.A.C. Cosmetics. She has done make-up for celebrities such as Rosario Dawson, has been featured in magazines such as Complex, Bloom, 303, Denver Magazine, and 5280 Magazine for her editorial work, and has worked at Fashion Week in Aspen. She specializes in color and hair extensions. Ever prides herself on her work. Her passion comes from the elements of life that she can recreate in the art of hair. Ever believes that hard work, dedication and the willingness to succeed will get you there. Honesty is important to her. Having fun is what Ever stands for; she is inspired by art, music, and hair. She genuinely loves each one of her clients, finds inspiration and beauty in each one, and is honored to be their stylist.
	AJA COBB {Stylist} Although Aja's educational roots are here in Colorado, she is also a graduate of Vidal Sassoon's advanced color program in California, and Toni and Guy's advanced cut and color program in Texas. Best known at Matthew Morris Salon for specializing in blondes, she does a phenomenal job with highlights, and genuinely loves making people leave here feeling beautiful. She truly wants people to feel good about themselves. Aja is artistic, talented, and a little mysterious. Her forte is having a vision for someone; the look, from make-up and hair, to fashion and style, she loves it all. Art and music bring her to life, her charm and sense of humor make her fun to be around, and her talent makes her successful. She is compassionate, making her clients open up to her and to feel comfortable, beautiful and happy. Blondes love her color formulations, women love her style, men love the experience, and everyone loves their cuts. Aja is a unique, fashion-forward, trendsetting, experienced stylist who truly loves working at Matthew Morris Salon.

	JULIE KUHN {Stylist} Julie is an Aveda trained stylist that specializes in dry haircutting and creating natural hair color for clients that delivers consistency and perfection. She has attended numerous advanced cutting classes, Aveda Men classes, and technical classes. She is comfortable in her skills, and feels so much of her education she has learned from the best: Matthew Morris himself. Julie is dedicated and stands behind her work, ensuring she is surpassing her clients' expectations. She perfects what she does, valuing the technical aspect of haircutting. She is open-minded, intuitive and attentive. She listens to her clients' concerns, is able to generate new ideas, and always does her best. Her goals are to enhance and promote the process of beauty, listen and educate herself and others, and to bring out the best in each of us.
	JOLENE ARELLANO {Stylist} Jolene is a graduate of the Aveda Institute of Denver, class of 2006 graduating with honors. Since becoming a part of the team at Matthew Morris Salon, Jolene has taken every morsel of knowledge she has learned through extensive advanced education and mastered them. Specializing in modern hairstyles, haircutting, and color techniques, Jolene's calm disposition puts you at ease knowing that you are in capable hands. Her extensive experience and continued education allow her to provide her clients with a wide variety of styles to meet their personal style. She is inspired by the stylists she works with at Matthew Morris Salon, where she continues to learn, evolve, and grow.
	AMIE BELDEN {Stylist} Amie began her career at Matthew Morris Salon - apprenticing under Matthew himself for the past two years. Through hard work, dedication, and skill, she is proud to say she is a strong stylist at this salon, accepting new clients, and enjoying building her business here. She also has recently been offered a remarkable opportunity to be a part of the nationwide Education team for Kerastase. Amie values hard work and discipline. She has learned from the best, and feels fortunate for every opportunity that presents itself. She is continuously inspired by her mentors and excited that she is using her creativity and passion every day. Clients love her because she is approachable, laid back, and honest. She isn't afraid to push the envelope and try new things. Amie is talented, she is innovative, and she is dedicated. 	MEREDITH BOLES {Stylist} Meredith has a career that spans over the past thirteen years. Always keeping a beginners heart and an educated mind fuels Meredith's passion for hairdressing. She offers a full range of services including styling, color, haircutting, foils, balayage and ombre color technique. Meredith's priority is creating solutions that are creative, original and that offer a transformative look for each person. Her enthusiasm for education has lead her to train in London and learn from many of the best our industry has to offer.
	JILLIAN BERRES {Stylist} Jillian Berres is known for her masterful hair and makeup at weddings, photo shoots and fashion shows. Jillian brings seven years of dedicated experience to her craft. Her career as a stylist began in Michigan where she developed her passion for transforming hair into her client's visions. Though her main priority is satisfying her client's wishes no matter how big or small, her artistic bent is satisfied by keeping up the with latest trends and techniques, and working on her own innovations. Natural skill combined with supreme attention to detail and an underlying commitment to listen to her clients' desires is what fuels Jillian's mastery of her profession. No matter what age, occupation or personal style, Jillian will help you create a personalized look devoted to showcasing your best features.
