Matthew Morris, a Colorado native, began his career as a makeup artist. With a high demand for his celebrated work, it was only natural for Matthew to make the transition into hair styling. He quickly rose to the top of his game; jumpstarted by an article in Allure Magazine and the recognition as "Editorial Stylist of the Year" by the North American Hairstyling Awards in 2005. During this time Matthew's work was featured locally and nationally in consumer publications, trade publications, and advertising campaigns.

With a loyal and accomplished following, Matthew opened the famed Matthew Morris Salon in 2006. Starting off as a company of only three employees, the salon has grown into twenty five of the best hairstylists and makeup artists in the state. Matthew and his acclaimed salon have been voted Best Stylist/Salon for the past five years by Denver's 5280 Magazine and distinguished by Elle Magazine editors as the Best Salon in Colorado in 2008.

Matthew is a staple figure at New York Fashion Week and has styled for numerous designers and supermodels for the past 14 seasons. He was requested by politicians and celebrities for his services during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. His celebrity fans include Rosario Dawson, Paris Hilton, and Idina Menzel.

Film and Video credits include MTV Music Video Awards, Scissor Sister's "Filthy Gorgeous", and the motion picture "Adam & Steve" with Parker Posey.
